Intracranial metastases tumor is intracranial malignant tumor metastased from other parts of the body, such as carcinoma, sarcoma and melanoma. Clinically, most common type of intracranial metastases is carcinoma, accounting for 90% of intracranial metastatic tumor. There are three pathways for malignant tumor intracranial transfer: (1) hematogenous metastasis; (2) lymphatic metastasis; (3) direct invasion. Hematogenous metastasis is most common, and the location and pathway of metastatic tumor is related to the location of primary tumor. |
